I'll be there, with my Dad and my six-year-old.

I have to get the car inspected on Saturday morning, as long as that does not wipe me out we could be there. I'll let you know.

We're coming along with our pastor and family and our dd and sil and their children. It takes over 2 hours to drive from where we are in Ohio so we'll go up tomorrow and stay overnight in Greensburg. It's our third year to attend - our N Irish pastor has never been there, our 3yo granddaughter loves the piper bands, and I think the caber toss is just the coolest thing!

We are of Clan Scott and if my dear husband ever loses enough weight we're going to get him a kilt.

I've been checking the weather for Ligonier and "they" are calling for a 40% chance of rain and 73 degrees. It's going to be a great day.

Oh, BTW - this is the 50th year for the Games.

My dh will be wearing a navy blue "Clan Scott" tee shirt - we will be in a group with 3 men, 3 women (I'll be wearing a light green oxford shirt), 3 small boys, 1 small girl, 2 babies (one very new) and 2 strollers.

With all the above I have a feeling we might not be hard to miss!

Chuck just told me that Pittsburgh's Irish Festival has been scheduled for this weekend. They did that last year and Ligonier lost half of its piper bands. With a maiden name of "McMahon" I'm as Irish as they come, but this really stinks!!!

Sorry I was unable to make it down there today Doug. Took a bath in getting the car inspected (which it failed... needs body work that they cannot do where it was inspected)....

Sorry to hear about the car. My dad didn't make it up for the games either. But I went by myself and enjoyed the bands and the caber toss. I'll try to post some pics on my blog on Monday.
