hmm... i don't really know to be honest.

I was pretty sleepy during the whole affair, so i was just wondering if there was any deeper meaning or redeeming value that i might have missed.

I am guessing your answer would be no. :bigsmile:

It was relatively entertaining. The moral of the story is that guns are bad and the reason why people kill each other. The other moral is that American intel is cool with letting arms dealers arm the enemies of our enemies.

What kind of moral is that to a movie?

Everyone knows the government kills people -- not guns.

There was no redeeming value to the movie. Nicholas Cage's character was the worst sort of villian. I began hoping that he would meet the short end of sawed off in a dark alley...

I have a problem glorifying the "bad guy". Like Ocean's 11 - great movie, but morally horrendous because we are "rooting for the bad guys." Aren't they clever eh?

However, I did see this, with curse free TV of course, which made it almost a slient movie at points. I think the end is most important in thier message. (For those who saw it know what I mean - bad guys mixing with the US).

I thought Hollywood has reached a stage where they blur the line between good and evil... and there are no real good or bad guys per se. I think that was the intent with this character in this movie.
