MIA? Oops! Grandpa's gone wild

Sorry all for my absence these last weeks. Work has been all-consuming, we are trying to sell our house, and my older daughter visited us for 10 days from Fort Wayne with our ONLY granddaughter, Charis. In another five weeks, d.v., we will have six grandsons, but this is our only little girl. It's a good thing she takes after my wife!

Yes there she is with me in the avatar just an hour after her birth on May 16. Four months later . . . she cleans up reeeeeal good, don't you think?

If anyone ever gets to CA, the Getty (Getty Center Dr. off the 405 just north of UCLA) is a FABULOUS venue. The picture wa taken as we were having lunch in the caffeteria where the food was actually gourmet (BBQ ribs and the best green beans I have ever tasted). AND, admission to the Getty is FREE!!! All you pay for is the parking. Plus, they have a cool airport quality tram that ports you to the entrance from the parking lot.
