The leaves here in TN were beautiful as well the past couple of days, but it rained today and knocked a lot of them down.

Was it just in TN or did the leaves turn a lot later than normal this year in a lot of other places?

wow! nice pics, and a good eye. makes me wished i was still in winchester, va.
makes me warm and fuzzy, thinking how soon it'll be time to go to a tree farm and cutyour own tree, waiting inline drinkin hot cider , setting up the tree with my kids...a first for the three of us...and then handing out the zyrtec because where all alergic to anything green or floats...lol
but, love it anyway

Yes, it seemed to be an really long season this year. I started taking fall color photos over a month ago and there are still many trees with leaves still on them. I plan one more trip around town tomorrow to try and get a few last shots.
