July 4 1987 is an evening I'll always remember. I was privileged to see Dizzy Gillespie play with the Roanoke Sympony Orchestra at Victory Stadium that year. Great times.

Saw Maynard Ferguson at the Iroquois in Roanoke back in the mid 90s also a great show.
