Walking by the Spirit

Galatians 5:16

"I say then: walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."

What Puritan works are there on this subject?

If you have not tried it yet, you may try Puritan Search. It will take you directly to the places in over 6,500 Puritan works to where this term is mentioned. This is one of the things I love about it, is that you can take a term, and really do a thorough study on it regarding Puritan thought. For instance, the term "walk in the Spirit" was listed within 295 Puritan works. Within each work, it can be touched upon multiple times.

Thanks Dave. I did think of this too after I posted, it’s an excellent resource. I plan to start reading Christopher Love’s sermons in ‘The Combat between the flesh and the Spirit’ and Manton’s sermon too, which is in volume 2 of his works.
