Where is this global warming people are talking about??

It's supposed to be some -19 degrees in Minn. by Thursday, and next weekend it's supposed to be in the 20's here in Florida..

To be fair to global warming advocates, local changes (even where local = the USA) that are downward trends don't tell us anything about whether global warming is happening or not. We are in an overall down year, as we were in 2008, but global warming is a much longer term trend (where there are brief ups and downs).

I do not know...

And I have personally been wondering (I know this is a silly thought but indulge me please)
The global warming people (those who talk about it) say that the north and south pole will melt and then there is the danger of the hole world being floded and that we have to avoid that.

But... after God let Noa out of the ark he promised he would never flod the world again, he even gave us a sign of that, the rainbow.

So why should we worry?

Global warming is like hair loss. The most common form of baldness (global warming) is a progressive hair thinning condition (vegetation loss) called extreme weather or "earth pattern baldness" that occurs in different parts of the globe, particularly around the edges.

This planet has been having radical climate changes throughout recorded history. There was even a small 'ice age' fairly recently, lasting from the 14th through 19th centuries. Furthermore, a single volcanic eruption spews forth far more 'pollutants' than mankind can generate. Kraketoa is a good example of this- that eruption belched 10 times more ozone killing gasses than all of civilization has ever produced.

About a year ago, my husband brought home a chart produced by some researchers at the university where he works. The chart showed the earth's cooling/heating trends. The overall temperature of the earth compared to Roman times is actually much lower. According to the chart we are in a heat spike of a cooling trend, but the highest temperatures we've reached are actually lower than the some of the lows 2,000 years ago.

Also, I've heard scientists on both sides of the issue (one was on the science channel this week) say that the reason we are having a warming trend right now is because of solar flares.

These explanations make much more sense to me.
