Also I've been reading J.V. Fesko's book Justification which from my view puts Union with Christ in proper perspective within redemptive history. In my study of Union it's been really helpful.

Interestingly, we've just begun studying that very subject in our adult Sunday School class. We're using Union and Communion with Christ by Maurice Roberts (Grand Rapids: Reformation Heritage Books, 2008). It's only 123 pages of text but, as is usually the case with Roberts, it is very thoughtful and biblical. We're up to Chapter 4 (out of 18 chapters), so we're barely underway.
