Word Date Format

I recently switched to Windows XP. I reinstalled Microsoft Word 2002. Under Windows ME in Word 2002, I could type in "Janu" and get an autocomplete option "January" and then if I pressed Enter and the space bar I would get an additional option "January 4, 2007". Now, however, all I get is "January" and no additional option. Also, if I type in "2007" I get the autocomplete option "2007-01-04". I do not like that. I want it to go back to the way it was. I assume that there is a way to change the autocomplete date format, but I cannot find it. Help!

Try this:

Automatically insert the current date

1. Type the first four characters of the current date. For example, type febr for February. Microsoft Word displays the current month: "February."
   Press ENTER to insert the month, and then type a space. Word displays the current date — for example, "February 13, 2002" or "13 February 2002."
2. Press ENTER to insert the entire date.

Note If the current date is not displayed, you may need to turn on the AutoComplete feature. On the Insert menu, point to AutoText, and then click AutoText. Select the Show AutoComplete suggestions check box.

I did that. Still, it does the same thing. I type in "Janu" and I get the "January" autocomplete option. But when I press the space bar, I do not get the "January 4, 2007" option.
