WW II Memorial

I just wanted to say that I am so glad that there is finally going to be a WWII memorial, and I wish the WWII vets in my family were alive to see it, although they always seemed very modest about their involvement. My great-uncle was at Pearl Harbor and my granddad was an Ace Fighter Pilot. Moments like this make me proud of our country and our history.

My dad was a WWII veteran, and a great patriot. He never missed voting in an election, and even voted by absentee ballot when he was bedridden with cancer.

Please, if ya'all see one of VFW guys this weekend with a bucket and those fake red poppies, hand him some money.
