I am trying to track down references to "a haughty look" and look into what all this entails.

What exactly is a haughty look? What does it look like?
What are some examples of a proud look in our day?
I saw a snippet of a rap video and it seems that black rap or latino music culture often cultivates this in a fasionable way. Also, I was hassled by a policeman here in this country last year and he had sort of a smug look on his face knowing that he was in power. Also, some rich CEOs in power and some politicans (thinking of a recent pic of Newt Gingrich I saw this week), as well as religious leaders seem to sometimes have this as well (thinking of that female preacher with the short hair)...a look of being an authority or overly certain or self-righteous.
What is the opposite of a haughty look or a proud gaze and how do we cultivate it and what does it look like?

Proverbs 21:4 KJV “An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin”
