Hey Rich,
I was perusing the auctions today and noticedyour lint for sale. I wish people would give a clearer description of their items. For instance, exactly now much does this lint weigh? It's hard to judge the size by this picture. I mean, is it a pound? A cubic foot? What?
Furthermore, what type of fabric is it? Is it a mix of all fabrics, and thus relatively unknown? Is it wool? Etc. This has a great affect on its value. How would I know what sort of dye to use, for instance. Would it make a good sweater, or simply be useful for darning socks (I can say that here, can't I?).
Does the seller take PayPal?
This brings up another point: How come there's not a place to ask the seller a question within the auction.
I've been looking for quality lint for some time. Now I have an opportunity to get some imported lint but the seller isn't responsible enough to even give a decent description. Maybe I should just see if I can find a paper clip somewhere instead.

Frustrated,
Joe

Sorry Joe. I didn't write the hack, I just install them.

But I have an idea...why not use the PM SYSTEM to ask a question about my lint.

I'll answer it now. I believe the lint is a mix of both natural and synthetic fabrics. I wear a lot of cotton and synthetic T-shirts. I'm not exactly how much it weighs. I pulled it out of my navel using tweezers into a small pile and placed in a storage bag.

Incidentally, something that was kind of cool about the Schaff auction was that it sent me an automatic PM from the seller after I won it. I thought that was cool.

I thought the general section would help generate more interest. :um:

ONLY if it were belly-button Lent! ;)
