I'm late with this, but James T. Dennison, Jr. died late last year. He lived from October 7, 1943 to October 3, 2024, dying just 4 days before his 81st birthday.
He will be remembered primarily as the editor of Francis Turretin's Institutes of Elenctic Theology (3 volumes, 1992-1997) and of Reformed Confessions of the 16th and 17th Centuries in English Translation (4 volumes, 2008-2014). He was also the author of a handful of publications.
He was head librarian at Westminster Seminary, California, for some years, and was involved with Northwest Theological Seminary.
I have not been able to find any information as to where he was when he died, what he died of, or surviving family members, except that he was preceded in death by his brother Charles and is survived by his brother William. My understanding is that the announcement of his death was a low-key affair.
