Enjoy faith, fun and foolishness.

Well - they have gone for the ideal date and it will probably be memorable and will certainly be foolish. Every time I think it can't get any worse with the liberal church - the liberal church proves me wrong.

Methodist clown communions have occurred in the United States as well.

Every time I think it can't get any worse with the liberal church - the liberal church proves me wrong.

The problem is that (at least Stateside) I could imagine some supposed evangelicals doing the same thing.

Instead he ended up being ordained a priest in the Church of England in 1978, but he hadn’t managed to forget clowning, and in 1982 he helped found Holy Fools, a loose-knit network of loose nits committed to clowning in ministry and worship. In 1990 he resigned his parish in London and did a year at Fool Time, the circus school in Bristol (now called Circomedia), and he’s been clowning full-time ever since.

Woe unto them who would purposefully make worship into "foolishness".

From Holy Roly's website:

All his routines have some Christian basis, story or punchline.

Friends, All of this nonsense should make you want to sing psalms a cappella! Only the Regulative Principle of Worship can keep us from this as the logical end!
