Problem with internet phone?

I just got a magic Jack and it works great whenever I call cell phones....but when I call a landline, I hear my voice echo back in the ear piece, which is highly annoying.

I'm currently plugging a normal landline phone into the magic Jack...would buying a headset solve the problem? Or does the echo just come with the territory?

I have magic jack. Go to the web site under 'get live help in seconds'. Try doing the steps that are written down for your problem. If that doesn't work, you can contact a 'live' person and they will troubleshoot the problem.

I spent around five total hours to get my magic jack working ok.
