The Chicago White Sox nearly made history tonight. I've never heard more booing at a game, and I don't think I ever heard it for a win. In a way, I was hoping to see history made tonight, too. The crowd was chanting "SELL THE TEAM" over and over again. I've never been to any sort of live event, sports or otherwise, that had that kind of electricity. I guess 121 losses will have to wait for another day.

I root for the White Sox, so you know I'm humble.

What's impressive isn't the $6 tickets, but that they can have $6 tickets and still have a 90% empty stadium.

Wow! $6 for today is a lot less than $5 from the 90's and 00's. That's really low - $5.00 in 2000 is about equal to $9.14 today.

I don't recall ever paying more than $5 for a Brewers ticket from 2004-2015. Seeing the Cubs at Miller was always a steep discount over seeing them in Chicago.

I'm thinking the Sox sweep Detroit next. As I saw some guy on the interweb say, "We came to crown the White Sox as the worst team of all-time. But they couldn't even lose right."
