The Eagle of the Ninth

[JennyG]

Is this film already out in America? and if so, can anyone tell me if it's all right?
I know they've called it just "The Eagle" but I can't help thinking of it by its real title.
I loved that book so much as a child, I'm almost afraid to go and see the movie now, for fear of what they might have done to it

I considered watching this in the cinema but since it received such low ratings in Rotten Tomatoes I decided that I'll just wait for it to come out on DVD.

Thanks Joel. but I don't know - there are some decent ones there too
I'd already seen some write-ups, besides publicity, but the difficulty is trying to read between the lines and guess what sort of standards they are applying. That's why I was hoping someone with at least the same moral and spiritual ideals as me might be able to give me the real lowdown.
(I never pictured Esca with sticky-out ears, but there you go)
