I would definitely agree. There is also an online version available. The ability to search a word's primary entry as well as its occurrences in the dictionaries other entries can also be useful. It also provides a comparison with two subsequent editions of Websters.

If open to electronic helps I highly recommend using SwordSearcher Bible Software, which has the Websters 1828 and 1913...in addition to a whole host of other helpful aids for the KJV user.

I have a 1928 Websters full size edition that has every obscure word John Owens has used. It goes without saying that every KJV word is found in it, too.

But online is more convenient.

I love old old dictionaries. They’re fascinating because it’s like looking into the past. I get nostalgic, and I ain’t that old.

I have the 1957. It there a year where things started to change?
