For comparison purposes, the PCUSA was more efficient:

Membership loss
92,443

Churches net decrease
209

Presbyteries decrease

average number of Sunday worshipers dropping from 623,691 in 2013 to 600,411 in 2014, a decline of 23,280 persons

active membership 600,411 ECUSA baptised 1,8 million
active membership PC(USA) PC(USA) 1,660 000 baptised 2,6-2,8 million

active membership 600,411 ECUSA baptised 1,8 million
active membership PC(USA) PC(USA) 1,660 000 baptised 2,6-2,8 million

You are comparing membership in one with attendance in the other, it appears. They are actually fairly close to the same size, with PCUSA doing somewhat better in attendance

Membership PCUSA 1,667,767
Membership ECUSA 1,866,758

Attendance ECUSA - approximately 1/3 of members
Attendance PCUSA - approximately 1/2 of members (2013) "On an average Sunday in 2013, the number in attendance at worship in the average congregation was equal to about half of the congregation's membership." https://www.presbyterianmission.org/ministries/research/10faq/#5 (or 51% in 2010, see Table 15, page 32 here here: http://www.pcusa.org/site_media/med...arative_statistics_2010_-_complete_report.pdf

So that would give about 800,000 for the PCUSA to 600,000 in the ECUSA for average weekly attendance.
