Jay Adams

Jay Adams is 90 today (born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 30, 1929). As most of you know, he's a pioneer of the Christian counseling movement (nouthetic counseling).

I do hope he's enjoying his birthday (though they might be under a lot of snow back East!).

Our church went through his book "Christian Living in the Home" I think it's called. It was a great read.

Very much enjoy Jay's works. Many of his books are required reading at RPTS in our Biblical Counseling courses (particularly, Competent to Counsel and The Christian Counselor's Manual).
