Just kidding - a friend loves to hunt but is not too big on venison, so we've been blessed with a lot of it. Two more does are waiting in his freezer for when we can get over to pick it up. We are very grateful.

(Around my neighborhood the deer are so domesticated it is odd to not almost hit a deer, so that comment of mine hits a little close to home [really lame puns intended, I guess].)

My wife just said "It's amazingly good for something so stupid."

You take two pieces of bread. Don't settle for the outside ones, dig deep into the loaf and get those fresh one's in the middle.

Then place it in your toaster till it is turned into delicious toast.

Cover it with lots of real butter. None of that margarine junk.

Then sprinkle garlic powder over it. Don't use garlic salt. It won't work. And don't be shy about it either. You want a goodly amount.

Then sprinkle it with salt. Normal table salt.

And then enjoy!! It's so good! My wife is the best!
