No, he's not in prison. His stuff is for free is what i mean!

Here's an email from a friend....

Just in case you didn't get this information, you might be interested. It is from Justin Taylor's blog, Between Two Worlds.

There's some great news coming from
Grace to You , the ministry ministry of John MacArthur.

I'm told that starting next Wednesday, November 5 (the day after the election), Grace to You will announce a new policy, effective immediately, that all of their mp3 downloads of John MacArthur's sermons will be completely free.

That's 3500 sermons for free--with no strings (like required registration) attached.

Hats off to Grace to You for this generous move!

Make sure to visit the site next Wednesday.

VERY COOL!

Thats an ace deal! Thanks much for the heads up pergy

I love this whole new "let's give stuff to the church for free!" mentality these last couple of days. First Ligonier ministries with their free Genuine Leather reformation ESV Study Bibles, now Grace to You! Sweet!

G2U has wrestled with this for years. I'm glad they've made this move to put this in the hands of anyone able to listen.

Free my peeps . . . John MacArthur, Abbie Hoffman, and Comrade Che!!!

Since I have been collecting the podcasts of Grace to You for some time for free, this doesn't mean as much to me. However, the trend of providing high quality instruction and inspiration free of charge is a wonderful one indeed!

This is what I really like about Piper's ministry, how everything is available regardless of what you are able to pay.

Thanks for letting us know. I am happy to see another pastor offering his sermons for free. My :2cents: is that all sermons by reformed pastors should be free to download and they should be able to charge for lectures or extra teaching materials.

Isn't there a forum rule against Commie Che on here?

The only Chai we allow is hot Chai or Chai latte.....all others the CIA can handle.

Piper had a great blog entry a year or two ago when he had a big $5 sale on all his books. It was a defense of his stance against the idea that if you give something away for free people won't value it. It was a great piece by someone who understands economics and the Gospel. I can't find the blog post though.
