I thought this above article intersting. I really do think that we are in a interesting point in and that soon there will be some noteworthy things happening in the church. Bell's book has created such a big stir and has brought to the front what he believes that we will see stricter lines drawn in the evangelical community that could lead to larger division.

The article is an oversimplified caricature of at least one side of the discussion. Non-emergent evangelals and reformed cannot and will not fairly be reduced to "haters". Emergent Chrisitianity is increasingly becoming yet another failed flash in the pan.
